are considering building a memorial park in santa rosa for slain teenager andy lopez. sonoma county supervisors will meet tuesday who will consider creating a task force to explore police and community relations. 13-year-old lopez was shot in october by a deputy while walking through his own neighborhood, the deputy told investigators he believed the air soft bb gun lopez was carrying was an assault rifle. >>> authorities say speed was a factor in the death of actor paul walker, the 40 year old star of the fast and furious franchise was killed in a fiery car crash yesterday afternoon. friends, family, co-workers and fans around the world are shocked. many saying his death came way too soon. michelle turner has more. >> reporter: one of hollywood's most bankable stars, paul walker who made a name for himself in the fast and furious movie franchise died in a fiery car crash in santa clarita, california. a second person also died in the accident. both were attending a charity event for walker's organization, reach out worldwide. the event was intended to benefit the victims of typhoon haiyan in th

and calmer in santa rosa at eight miles per hour. i have the seven-day forecast coming up but i have the traffic coming up right now. as we talk about a couple accidents in the bay area, we have one early at the toll plaza on san mateo bridge and a stalled vehicle northbound 880 at 29th off-ramp but traffic is moving along fine as we take you to the bay bridge, westbound we have a konked out vehicle blocking a lane and not slowing traffic over to the treasure island. the first of the bay area shelters are open just in time for the deep freeze coming our way. in sunnyvale they have an increase of those needing shelter. >> the number of homeless people in san jose has again up 18 percent. this shelter is now open with a couple of others in the county and officials say there are a thousand beds available for homeless people in santa clara but that is not enough and there are estimated to be 7,up 00 each night on the street would need a bed. >> this shelter provides a meal at dinner and at breakfast and a place to sleep but we have partners that come and provide medical services. this sh

all over the bay, san mateo, santa rosa and parts of the south. if you should always travel with caution and the temperatures are low. westbound 580 is looking good with no problems. you are free and clear all the way to the dublin interchange. and the bay bridge toll plaza is not having any problems. no metering lights. highway 92 is in great shape with no problems for delays. the golden gate bridge is on time. >> the time is 5:03 a.m.. a human skull, a tennis shoe and other skilled toll remains have been found in a northern california park. the sonoma county sheriff's office as a hiker and his two children spotted the skull and the shoe in a creek bed. deputies plans to continue to investigate. >> the bay has been seen at the moment to drop to record lows over recent nights. at least five homeless people have died over the past two weeks. the most recent death happened behind an empty storefront on village park in dublin creek police somebody of the man or on 12:30 p.m. friday. they're investigating the possibility that it was due to exposure. many out reach workers around
